Sticks
Needlepoint on a stick is what we are calling these creatively finished pieces that are sure to get smiles. Your canvas is finished with a wooden support just like a lollipop. Paint the stick or wrap it in ribbon to compliment your piece. The base could be a small bucket, a tea cup or an antique vase. Once it is weighted and filled with floral foam, it is ready for it’s supporting role. Gussy it all up with ribbons and baubles. When finished, these can be placed almost anywhere.

Cock-a-doodle do! DO stitch this proud looking poultry. I found the base planter at my local craft store and paired it with the wired, checked ribbon. The fringe frames the needlework and gives it a feather like feeling.
